Frequently asked questions

Who should attend compassion fatigue training?

Anyone in a helping, caregiving or client-facing role will benefit — nurses, social workers, counsellors, educators, crisis responders, nonprofit staff, managers and volunteers.

Can the training be delivered virtually for teams outside Ontario?

Yes. Virtual delivery is available for teams anywhere in Canada. The format keeps the same interactive, discussion-based approach and can be split into shorter modules if needed.

Do you travel for in-person workshops?

I facilitate in person in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Edmonton, and can travel to other Canadian locations depending on group size and scheduling.

Is this training only for healthcare teams?

No. While healthcare is a common audience, the content is relevant for any team exposed to distress, trauma or high emotional demand — social services, education, corrections, crisis lines and more.
